I'm Oleksandr Prokhorenko, a software engineer with over 15 years of experience. I've helped high-performing engineering teams grow and succeed, and have led groups of more than 25 engineers. My main goal is to build products that make a difference and have a positive impact. I’m inspired by the motto: 'Engineering epic products that transform lives and shape the future.'

I spent more than nine years living in Germany and now call Berlin home. Throughout my career, I’ve delivered award-winning solutions for major clients such as PepsiCo, Philip Morris International, Liberty Global, and Vorwerk, as well as for many startups at various stages of growth. My technical skills include system programming, backend services, native, hybrid, cross-platform, and web app development, as well as IoT projects. I’m very passionate about P2P, decentralized systems, AI, and programming with Rust, Dart, Swift, and other programming languages and technologies.

Several of my projects have earned prestigious industry recognition, including the Red Dot Award and Golden Drum. As a lifelong learner and open-source contributor, I continually explore emerging technologies and mentor fellow engineers.

When I’m not designing new software or leading development teams, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, and making or playing electronic music.
