I’m Oleksandr Prokhorenko, recently Head of Engineering for Catalyst at IOG, where I lead a team of 20 talented engineers. Guided by my motto: "Engineering epic products that transform lives, shape the future, and create lasting values."

Having lived in Germany for over eight years, I'm now based in Berlin. Throughout my career, I’ve delivered award-winning solutions for major clients such as PepsiCo, Philip Morris International, Liberty Global, and Vorwerk, as well as numerous startups at every growth stage. My technical expertise spans system programming, backend services, native, hybrid, cross-platform, web app development, and IoT projects. I’m incredibly passionate about decentralized systems, AI, Machine Learning, and programming in Rust, Dart, and Swift.

Several of my projects have earned prestigious industry recognition, including the Red Dot Award and Golden Drum. As a lifelong learner and open-source contributor, I continually explore emerging technologies and mentor fellow engineers.

When not architecting next-gen software or guiding development teams, I enjoy reading books, spending time with family and friends, and making or playing electronic music.
