My name is Oleksandr Prokhorenko, and I’m a software engineer passionate about turning ideas into impactful products. Over the years, I have guided teams of more than 25 engineers, helping them thrive and achieve ambitious goals. What drives me most is creating technology that genuinely improves lives.

After more than nine years in Germany, I now call Berlin my home. Over the course of my career, I have crafted award-winning solutions for some of the world’s leading brands clients such as PepsiCo, Philip Morris International, Liberty Global, and Vorwerk, and a diverse range of startups navigating different stages of growth. My technical toolkit spans system programming, backend services, native, hybrid, cross-platform, and web app development, along with innovative IoT projects. I’m passionate about peer-to-peer and decentralized systems. I enjoy programming in Rust, Dart, and Swift, and lately I have been diving into GPU programming with Mojo.

Several of my projects have earned prestigious industry recognition, including the Red Dot Award and Golden Drum. As a lifelong learner and open-source contributor, I continually explore emerging technologies and mentor fellow engineers.

When I step away from crafting software or guiding my team, I love to lose myself in a good book, share laughter with family and friends, or dive into creating and playing electronic music.
